About SIS LIVE
SIS LIVE, is the largest outside broadcast and satellite uplink supplier in Europe. It offers a complete broadcasting solution from onsite outside broadcast facilities through to global distribution and IP provision. The company covers 100,000 hours of live events worldwide each year, including Formula One, The Wimbledon Championships, UEFA Champions League football and European Tour Golf, and delivers approximately 80% of live news feeds across the UK.
Project Scope
SIS LIVE will use the Quintiq solution to schedule all of SIS LIVE’s OB resources, to achieve process efficiencies and increase productivity by optimising resource utilisation. In total, SIS LIVE has over 200 vehicles in its fleet and 500 employees. They also work with over 1500 freelancers as well as many thousands of pieces of equipment. The solution provides a unique combination of logistical and operational planning that will allow SIS LIVE to maximize the utilization of theiresources within the production budgets and delivery requirements of their customers.

About TVA

Project Scope
Groupe TVA has chosen the Quintiq Broadcasting Planning Solution to schedule the workforce and resources of its Broadcasting sector. The solution will be seamlessly integrated with Groupe TVA's SAP system to streamline the scheduling process, reduce operational costs and improve overall productivity. Until now, Groupe TVA was planning its workforce and resources with a homegrown legacy system. In recent years, television production has changed and Groupe TVA’s operations have grown to the point that the system can no longer support the dynamics and complexity of scheduling the production department. In addition, the legacy system was not integrated with Groupe TVA's SAP system, causing information gaps.

Project Scope
QVC selected Quintiq's Multi-Resource Scheduling (MRS) solution to integrate the network’s scheduling and planning needs into one single system.
The MRS system will help QVC organize and track its broadcasting resources, with the goal of reducing the amount of time spent on scheduling, as well as to provide full transparency and real-time planning. The system will integrate schedule changes into the existing, real workflow.

About ZDF
ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen) is Germany's national public television broadcaster. With 3,600 employees plus a similar number of freelancers, around 900 types of production resources and 30,000 stocked items at the ZDF broadcasting center in Mainz and 17 other sites in Germany, ZDF is one of Europe's largest broadcasters.
Project Scope
Around 170 ZDF planners use the system for the short - and long-term scheduling of staff in real time – taking account of staff’s personal skills, internal contracts and legal requirements, holiday plans, as well as individual preferences and time accounts. The broadcaster also plans to optimize resource planning, starting with production handling. The solution will be seamlessly embedded in the ZDF infrastructure and integrated with around 10 different systems, including SAP R/3, via online interfaces.

About VRT
The Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroep, or VRT, is a publicly-funded broadcaster of radio and television in Flanders (northern part of Belgium).
Project Scope
At the VRT, Quintiq’s Broadcasting Planning Solution is used since 2004 and has since then been applied it to various departments within the VRT. This includes the planning of staff and equipment in the areas of the Newsroom TV, technical Radio resources, production resources for TV and the Sports department. One of the key achievements for us has been an overall efficiency increase through the use of Quintiq.
At the Radio department planning involves approximately 150 staff members, 30 radio studios and all the necessary technical equipment. VRT uses SAP to manage the complete business backbone processes of their broadcasting operations.The seamless integration between SAP and Quintiq enabled them to optimize their performance and utilization of all company’s resources in one flexible business model.

DutchView provides its services to almost all TV stations, channels and producers in The Netherlands. DutchView’s objectives are to further improve the utilization rate of employees, materials and means, which are being brought into action at various TV productions and reducing the costs. Well-known Dutch national TV programs are being provided with the services of DutchView such as drama, cultural, news and entertainment productions.
