About Rivas

The Rivas Care Group provides hospital and home care and social services in parts of the Dutch provinces Zuid-Holland, Brabant, Gelderland and Utrecht. Rivas employs approximately 1.000 home care employees.

Project Scope

In order to improve the planning of approximately 1.000 home care employees Rivas started a selection process for a new planning system. Quintiq was selected from twelve potential suppliers. In addition to Quintiq’s extensive experience in the home care market, the broad deployment capabilities of the Quintiq solution played an important role. The solution is for example also able to support other planning issues within the Rivas Care group.

Quintiq partner DataBalk has the lead in implementing the solution. Elmo ICT supplies the PDA’s with which home care employees can communicate with the central system. They can receive assignments and sign these off electronically. The new solution is expected to be operational by the end of 2008.

About Homecare De Omring

De Omring is the largest care group in West-Friesland (Noord-Holland) with almost 3,500 employees. De Omring has three care homes with around 580 beds, nine rest homes and three living units with approximately 460 clients. In addition, it offers home care, child and youth care and other services. Every month, De Omring offers extramural care to more than 4,000 clients.

Project Scope

The implementation of the Quintiq planning software supports De Omring’s aim to be prepared for future developments, including demand-driven care, remote care, a national Electronic Patient File and increasing competition between care suppliers. These developments require an efficient care system.

For the project at De Omring, Quintiq will cooperate closely with its partners Databalk and Elmo. Databalk with its expertise in health care is the main contractor for the project, and Elmo will deliver its solution for mobile registration.

About Proteion Homecare Noord-Limburg

Proteion Homecare Noord-Limburg is the largest home care organization in the northern part of the province of Limburg and offers home care, personal and specialized health care and other forms of care. It employs more than 1,200 people providing a service for more than 7,000 clients.

Project Scope

By implementing the Quintiq software, Proteion Homecare Noord-Limburg plans to improve the productivity of its employees and integrate its internal processes, including administration, registration and communication. In this way the organisation will be able to fulfil its mission of providing high-quality care to clients in the region.

For the project at Proteion Homecare Noord-Limburg, Quintiq will be cooperating closely with its partners Databalk and Elmo. Acting as the main contractor, Databalk will provide the project with its expertise in health care, and Elmo will deliver its solution for mobile registration.

About Homecare Rotterdam

Home Care Rotterdam is one of the largest home care organizations in the Netherlands. It employs around 7,000 workers who service some 22,000 clients. Home Care Rotterdam provides a wide variety of care, varying from regular home care to specialized health care.

Project Scope

Home Care Rotterdam will deploy Quintiq planning software for planning its 2,400 staff. In this way the health care organization wants to further improve its customer service, as well as its efficiency. Quintiq and Home Care Rotterdam expect the software to be operational in eight home care centers of Home Care Rotterdam.

About Homecare Westelijke Mijnstreek

Thuiszorg Westelijke Mijnstreek is an entrepreneurial home care provider with 1,800 employees who deliver a wide variety of home care services that meet the needs of the clients living in the region. The organization services clients in the cities of Sittard-Geleen, Beek, Schinnen, Stein and Susteren. Together with the Maaslandziekenhuis, nine care centers and a hospice, Thuiszorg Westelijke Mijnstreek is part of the Orbis care and medical organization.

Project Scope

By implementing the planning software provided by Quintiq, Thuiszorg Westelijke Mijnstreek is able to further improve employee productivity as well as integrate its internal processes including administration, registration and communication. In this way the organization can deliver on its mission to provide high quality care to its clients. The Quintiq software will initially be used for the planning of approximately 900 employees.

About Homecare Vivent

Vivent is the home care organization for the 's-Hertogenbosch region. It employs around 2,812 workers who service their clients with a wide variety of care, varying from regular home care to specialized health care.

Project Scope

Quintiq's planning solution will enable Vivent home care rapidly, efficiently and automatically to match the services of 1,200 staff and 600 care assistants at six sites to the need for care of more than 7,000 clients.
