About Belgian Customs
The Belgian Customs is a department of the federal government of Finance. One of the customs' main tasks is inspection of goods. Yearly 250.000 inspection orders are being excuted by this department, which consists of about 940 FTE 's.
Project Scope
Belgian Customs are using Quintiq for the planning of their mobile customs processes. For faster and more adequate inspections, the federal government has a change management program running which contains the planning. The planning and execution of the inspections is managed from seven decentralized locations. who can all use the Quintiq application at the same time.
