Paul Winn
Paul Winn became a member of the Quintiq board of directors upon its formation in June 2011. Paul brings to the boardroom over forty years’ experience in the IT industry, and over thirty years’ experience in executive leadership. His focus over the last 20 years is in building sustainable growth companies that are able to execute vibrant visions with effective strategies, differentiation and operational best practices.
Over the course of his career, Paul has gained a broad set of experiences in enterprise-level global solutions across a broad range of industries including: life sciences; financial, business and healthcare services; insurance; information technology; and energy & utilities.
Career Highlights:
- Paul currently serves on the board of I-Many, Inc. where he was instrumental in the acquisition of the Company and now serves in the capacity of Chairman and CEO. He has also served on public and private boards of companies including Application Security, Cybershift, Indigo, Princeton Softech, PowerQuest and Genicom.
- He has served in the role of President and CEO in the following IT companies: Princeton Softech, a high technology software company, which was acquired by IBM in 2007; PowerQuest, a high technology company, acquired by Symantec Corporation in 2003; and Genicom, a public document imaging company, which experienced strong growth during his ten-year tenure. All of these companies experienced accelerated growth. He is currently an operating partner at LLR Partners Inc.
- Prior to his roles as President and CEO, Paul gained experienced over 20 years in various capacities with the IBM Company in product development, site management and general management of business units.
- Paul was named a Rising Star on Deloitte’s 2006 Technology Fast 500, recognized by Private Equity Association for the most strategic transaction and was also a finalist in the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur award.
Education:
Paul graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. He was appointed as the University of Virginia’s Executive in Residence, and named Utah State University’s Alumnus of the Year.
