Quintiq first entered China in 2006 to serve the APS demands of a well-known, fast-growing international aluminum company. Following extremely positive feedback upon the implementation of the solution, the Quintiq board made the decision to establish a real presence in China. So, in 2007 Quintiq opened an office and hired the smartest consultants we could find. This reflected Quintiq's strategy of participating in the success story of China's fast development.

Our first office was in Wujiang Road - we outgrew it after just one year. We then moved to central Shanghai, where you can find us to this day. It’s just a minute’s walk from People's Square.

The local success story of Quintiq's APS spread, and other leading aluminum companies in China and North Asia soon followed. We are also active in the logistics industry, and we are proud to have DHL depend on our software to deliver packages in China.

Recently, companies in several industries in the region have contacted us to explore the opportunities that better planning can bring to them: we expect to see a significant diversification of our portfolio in the next few years. Together with our partners, Quintiq China is well established to deliver to the Chinese and North Asian markets excellent 100%-fit local solutions, combined with the know-how of international expertise.
