Quintiq opened its first Asian offices in 2006 in Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with an initial team of 5 developers. In just 5 years, the Global Development Center has grown to become Quintiq’s largest department and its sole development center in the world. Most of Quintiq’s development activities take place here; over 100 developers work on customization projects and industry solutions for the business worldwide.

In 2008, Quintiq also established its regional head office for Southeast Asia and India here in Malaysia, to address the growing market opportunities throughout the region as well as to support the company's rapidly developing Southeast Asian customer base.

With such rapid expansion, we quickly outgrew our KLCC offices - you can now find us in the Crown and Horizon penthouses of the 1 First Avenue building, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya. Check out our very colorful penthouse offices.

We chose Malaysia for three main reasons. First, Malaysia has an impressive supply of highly-skilled local talent. Second, with headquarters in the US and Netherlands, Malaysia is perfectly placed to allow us to provide 24/7 support to our customers. Third, Kuala Lumpur is strategically located to enable Quintiq to offer its products to the Asian market.

Quintiq made the right choice: the Malaysian office is our fastest growing; it will soon become the largest, with staff numbers to exceed even the HQ in the Netherlands and expected to top 300 by the end of 2012; and, it currently generates approximately one third of the company’s income.

We primarily focus on those industries in which we have proven to be one of the best suppliers of Advanced Planning & Scheduling solutions. Notable projects include the implementation of Quintiq to support DHL’s Malaysian operations; LSG Sky Chefs Brahim, a leading provider of in-flight catering and cabin handling services, to improve operational efficiency at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport; and NatSteel, one of the top steel providers in Asia Pacific in transforming their overall supply chain.
