A day in the life of...
‘We share a lot of laughs’ – One thing I got to know since I’ve been working here is how many different facets my colleagues have. It seems that people who bring a lot of commitment and enthusiasm to their work are also willing to reveal other colorful sides of themselves. We share a lot of laughs, and we organize spontaneous get-togethers outside work. To put it in a nutshell, over the years that I’ve been here, I guess I’ve become one of those employees who feel a great pride when they talk about Quintiq’ (Frank van Werven, Senior Software Engineer)
'I like working at Quintiq, because:
- We not only declare to be No.1 APS provider, but also we are trying to making our great software better and better.
- We not only are doing project with lots of leading customers, but also we are trying our best to bring them profit.
- W e not only help one specified customer during a single project, but also transferring the valuable industry experience among project.
- Instead of selling a fixed software without considering the current status of customer, we provide a bright future and create the way to this future based on customer's reality.
- Instead of just implement a IT system, we help customers to improve their business process & even manage rules.' (Jason Jia Qinjjan, Business Consultant)
'I’ve been working for Quintiq for over 8 years now, of which the last 2 years as a Business Unit Director in Kuala Lumpur. Victor Allis, our CEO, had sent out a RfA (Request for Assignment), promoting the job and location for the new business unit in South East Asia. Several people responded, and, after an internal procedure I got the job. The challenge lay in 2 things: become as successful with the new business unit as they are in Europe and the US, primarily focusing on those industries in which we have proven to be one of the best suppliers of Advanced Planning & Scheduling solutions. As I did not now the Asian market very well, I teamed up with an experienced, local Business Unit Director. And as a personal challenge: ‘surviving’ with my family in a non-Western environment.' (Coen Verberk, Business Unit Director SEA)
‘Working here gives me good vibes. They’re obvious throughout the organization’ (Mascha Damen, HR Manager)
