Advanced Planning & Scheduling Consultant

Job Description:
As an Advanced Planning & Scheduling Consultant you are responsible for implementing Quintiq at our customers in collaboration with our partners. Our customers range from mid-sized to large industrial companies in metal, manufacturing, logistics, rail, workforce and other markets; knowledge of one of these markets is important.
You discuss optimization solutions with management as well as planners. You are able to quickly understand business processes, discover optimization potential, define the solution and communicate it to Quintiq Specialists as well as the customer. You enjoy advanced planning and scheduling, developing Industry Solutions, solving algorithmic puzzles, in short "solving the daily puzzle".

Job Requirements:
Background at honours/academic level in computer science, econometrics or similar, high abstraction and analytic ability, knowledge of Advanced Planning & Scheduling in one of the abovementioned markets, experience in object-oriented modelling (UML), knowledge of optimization techniques in operations research and artificial intelligence (linear programming, genetic algorithms, heuristic search techniques, constraint programming, etc.), affinity with ERP systems, energetic and flexible, strong communicative skills, especially in an environment of top professionals.
