Job description

From our fast growing development center in Kuala Lumpur we provide development services to the rest of the Quintiq organization world wide. We develop customer specific applications, improve generic solutions for a particular industry and we participate in improving the standard software itself.

Generic industry solutions (IS) are the key to further growth of Quintiq: improving these will reduce the effort needed to make the customer specific applications. The effort spent on these IS is significantly increasing. As a project manager you will primarily be responsible for the daily operations in our IS teams. Important tasks are planning of resources, scheduling key activities, pro-active progress monitoring, and communication with stakeholders worldwide. Considering the fast growth in our development center, there will be many more project management activities in the future to ensure an efficient day to day operation.

What we expect from you

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar
• The ability to operate on a high abstraction and analytical level
• Experience with software implementation projects (SCM, ERP, etc.) and project management methodologies
• A clear vision on and experience in iterative and interactive development (prototyping, rapid application development, etc.)
• Sound judgment in state-of-the-art software technology
• A flair for solving complex logical puzzles
• Strong English Communication skills
• A passion for visionary Advanced Planning & Scheduling solutions and algorithms
