About Flinter

Flinter is one of the leading cargo-ship operators in the Netherlands. It owns about two third of their current 45 vessels and the other vessels are commercially-, technically-, and/or nautically managed by Flinter. Flinter also provides maritime services to captain-owners and to private shipping companies: supervision of new building projects, nautical- and technical management, crewing, financing, and brokering purchases and sales. Futhermore Flinter is a also broker between supply (industries) and demand (shipping companies).

Project Scope

In the first phase a 100% fit solution will be build for Flinter based on standard technology of Quintiq to plan nautical, technical and crew management. Additionally, Flinter could be able in the future to optimize voyage management in combination with cargo planning. The Quintiq solution will provide Flinter with complete transparency throughout its network-wide planning chain and give planners more control so they can focus on tuning the plan and not any longer in making the plan.
