The Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA) operates 13 towers throughout Poland and employs around 500 air traffic controllers. It was established in April 2007 to ensure the safety of air traffic in the Polish airspace. Operations are carried out at three levels: area control, approach control and airport control. The area under PANSA's purview is the Flight Information Region Warszawa, better known as FIR WARSZAWA.
