About SIG
SIG is an international provider of aseptic beverage cartons and packaging equipment for value added beverages and liquid food. The SIG Group consist of two divisions: SIG Combibloc which manufactures beverage cartons, filling machines and closures and SIG Beverages, which focuses on stretch blow molding, coating and filling of PET bottles. The group is headed by SIG Holding Ltd. In 2004 the group reported net sales of 1.7 billion euros with about 7000 employees.
Project Scope
SIG will integrate the Quintiq solution with its worldwide SAP ERP system. As a result Quintiq will be the standard planning solution for the strategic and operational planning at all production plants of SIG.

Project Scope
Vlisco wants to optimize its production processes in order to maintain its market leading position. By deploying the Quintiq Advanced Planning & Scheduling Suite, Vlisco can use its production capacity more efficiently. In addition the company can respond more flexibly to changing market demands.

About Meneba
Meneba is a leading producer of high-quality corn products, intended for the processing of food, feed and non-food applications. In the selection process of the raw materials and mixtures much attention is given to product safety. The quality of Meneba's products is realized within a broad quality system that meets the needs of ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP and BRC. Meneba is actively helping to reduce the health riscs through an integral supply chain approach. The whole process from sowing to grinding is being registered.
Project Scope
In the first phase Quintiq developed, in cooperation with Meneba, a model for the combinatorial optimization of these corn types, taking in to account the very strict quality aspects, variable costprices, availability of the many raw materials and specific restrictions in the production process.
In the second phase of the project this recipe optimization model was expanded upon with scheduling functionality in order to plan the production process integrally in the various locations, realizing a supply chain optimization.
