Trespa International Selects the Quintiq Planning Software for Optimizing its Production Processes

November 06, 2006 | 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands
Trespa International BV in Weert is to deploy the Quintiq Advanced Planning & Scheduling software (APS) for optimizing its production processes. Trespa is an international company that produces high-quality paneling for façade cladding and interior applications.

The Quintiq APS solution is to replace Trespa's current production system. Trespa wanted a new solution that would offer customers more flexibility and would integrate well with its existing SAP application.

With the software provided by Quintiq, Trespa uses the newest technology for production support in the market. The multi-user software is easy to configure, requires little maintenance and, among other features, offers interactive scheduling. With the Quintiq solution, Trespa can integrate its process steps, use flexible delivery units, integrate planning orders and support the planning across a number of presses. Thus ultimately enables Trespa to improve the quality of delivery of its products to customers. Trespa will use the software especially for throughput, delivery reliability, quality control, stock and administrative efficiency.

"Trespa was looking for a solution that could handle the complexity of its production processes, now and in the future," says Victor Allis, CEO at Quintiq. "The Quintiq Advanced Planning & Scheduling solution was developed to support extremely complex processes, enabling Trespa to get more grip on the quality and delivery of its products."
