Quintiq wins regional High Growth Award 2009

has won the High Growth Award 2009 for South Holland. Arjen Heeres, COO at Quintiq, was handed the award by entrepreneur Hennie van der Most.
The High Growth Awards is an annual election of Dutch companies that have shown substantial revenue growth in the past three years. It is organized by Port4Growth, in collaboration with partners like Rabobank, PricewaterhouseCoopers and business magazine BIZZ. Quantitative growth is not the only issue for the High Growth Awards; quality also plays an important role. The High Growth Awards is a regional contest, in which companies compete for the title of best regional company.
An independent jury of successful entrepreneurs and specialists, including representatives from Rabobank and PricewaterhouseCoopers, assessed the companies. This assessment was based on the Port4Growth Growth Model. This model distinguishes six growth issues that have successfully been targeted by the companies, enabling faster growth. These issues are: strategy, market positioning, automation, capital & financing, business partners and acquisitions & succession. The growth figures are checked by an independent accountant.
According to the jury report, Quintiq has performed exceptionally well in developing an international market. Especially its increased presence in the Far East and the success Quintiq has had in this region, impressed the jury. Additionally, the jury stated that at the basis of the Quintiq success lies a high-quality and state of the art product, which is appreciated by the market. Finally, the jury pointed out that Quintiq has shown excellent growth figures. It ended 2008 with a 35 percent increase in turnover.
