Paris La Défense chosen for Quintiq’s new French office

Henri Beringer, appointed France General Manager, brings years of planning and optimization solutions experience

Quintiq today announced the opening of its new office in Paris La Défense, France. The new office will strengthen Quintiq’s market position, stretching its reach as the world’s supplier of choice for Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) solutions.

The new office will be headed by Henri Beringer, a graduate from Ecole Polytechnique with a PhD in Computer Science who has founded and managed various software related businesses leveraging optimization technologies. In his new role, Henri’s first priority will be to develop the French market for Quintiq and quickly expand the French team who will ensure the satisfaction of French speaking customers.

When asked about his new role, Henri responded by saying: “Quintiq’s focus on highly flexible and interactive planning and optimization applications combined with Quintiq’s culture of constant quality awareness makes me confident that we will achieve our goal to become successful in French-speaking countries.”

“By appointing Henri, we bring additional entrepreneurship on board. With Henri’s excellent management skills and years of experience particularly in planning and optimization solutions, we are in good shape to increase our business throughout the French-speaking region,” commented Quintiq COO Mr. Arjen Heeres.

In order to quickly develop its French office, Quintiq is investing approximately thirteen million Euros in the French market in the period 2012 – 2016 and creating attractive and secure jobs.

The French office is located in the inspiring business heart of Paris in Tour Ariane La Défense – one of the first prestigious buildings of La Défense, housing state-of-the-art companies and development facilities. Tour Ariane has a great view over the city and is close to the CNIT and the Grande Arche.
