Quintiq's global expansion continues with opening of Sydney office

April 09, 2013 | Sydney, Australia

Quintiq, a global leader in supply chain planning and optimisation (SCP&O), today announced the expansion of its Australian operations with the opening of its new office in North Sydney. The launch of the Sydney office reflects the growing market demand for Quintiq's software solutions in New South Wales.

With the mission to solve the world's most complex planning puzzles, Quintiq drives value for Australian businesses by improving their planning competencies. Since the launch of its first Australian office in Melbourne in 2008, Quintiq has grown swiftly within Australia with the acquisition and support of major clients in a broad range of industries. Quintiq's clients include Airservices Australia, Anglo American, Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal and the Royal Flying Doctors Service. As the company's global expansion continues at an increasing rate, the opening of its Sydney office will better support new as well as current customers in the region, which include RailCorp, Xstrata Coal, Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group and Port Kembla Coal Terminal.

"Adding our Perth office last year and now the Sydney office to our national footprint is reflective of our successful growth strategy. Having a dedicated Sydney-based team will support our existing customers as well as allow us to capitalize on many exciting business opportunities on offer," said Paul Shepherd, Director of Quintiq Australia and New Zealand.
