Quintiq Opens Office in Far East

Quintiq announced today that it has opened its first Asian office in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Edwin Cahyadi and Jörgen Nijhof, who have worked for Quintiq in the Netherlands for several years now, have been appointed as managing directors for the region Asia Pacific. The first three local employees have started on September 1st, four others will join them during September and October. Before the end of the year the new office is expected to have over 15 employees.
From its new office Quintiq will offer its products to the Asian market. Interest in Quintiq’s solutions is underlined by a recent contract with SAPA Aluminum in Shanghai, China. In addition the strategic location of Kuala Lumpur also offers advantages to customers in Europe and North America. Cooperation between Philadelphia (VS), Den Bosch (the Netherlands) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) enables full 24x7 support. Also, cooperation between the offices worldwide will enable reduced lead times in projects and in product development.

Quintiq Asia Pacific has its offices in the PETRONAS Twin Towers, with 452 meters one of the tallest buildings in the world.
