Best of e-Logistics Merit Award Presented to Quintiq Sdn Bhd

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, October 23, 2008

Quintiq, a leading provider of Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) solutions, has been recognized with 'Best of e-Logistics' Merit Award by MSC Malaysia. The announcement was made during the MSC Malaysia Annual Asia Pacific ICT (APICTA) 2008 Awards Night which was held on the 15th of October 2008 in Kuala Lumpur.

The Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) is an international Awards Programme initiated by the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) of Malaysia to provide a platform for innovators and entrepreneurs in the ICT sectors in the region to benchmark their products.

The objective of the MSC Malaysia APICTA Awards, under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, is to provide recognition to outstanding achievements of those who have contributed to the development of the MSC Malaysia initiatives or in building applications and services for the benefit of Malaysia. It recognizes creativity, innovation, and excellence in Malaysian ICT. A total of 19 Award Categories were presented during the event.

Quintiq Sdn Bhd was nominated in the following category:

Best of E-Logistics
This Award is presented to the most innovative nomination for developing ICT solutions that support the logistics sector. Any application of software and/or hardware that supports and enables the planning, implementing, and controlling efficient, effective flow and storage of goods, services and related information, from the point of origin to the point of consumption in order to meet customers' requirements.
