KLM Catering Services selects Advanced Planning and Scheduling from Quintiq

('s-Hertogenbosch, January 28th, 2002) Quintiq today announced that KLM Catering Services has selected Quintiq for advanced planning & scheduling software and AbOvo for the implementation. KLM Catering Services (KCS) will leverage the Quintiq solution to enhance its delivery performance of meals to the aircrafts.

By being able to efficiently plan personnel and trucks KCS can achieve an even better delivery performance than the already satisfactory delivery performance level of today. The Quintiq software supports the planning department by automatically taking into account all kinds of constraints and regulations real-time, such as the various employment regulations and disturbances in the delivery cycle caused by flight delays.
