Quintiq announces release of version 2.3

( 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands - January 3, 2002) Today Quintiq announced the general availability of version 2.3 of the Quintiq Application Suite for January of 2002.

In release 2.3 many features have been added, of which the most notable are:

• Calendar component - A completely new calendar component has been created. Its intuitive user interface allows any user to quickly change shift patterns, reserve holiday periods and enter maintenance and breakdowns.
• Stock component - The stock component has been considerably enhanced. Within the process industry, Quintiq can now model complex models of factories. Within the discrete industry, stock levels can now also be handled.
• Database sharing - The Quintiq Integrator has been extended to allow sharing of tables by multiple Quintiq servers, facilitating Supply Chain Optimization capabilities.
