Quintiq to speak at transportation event

('s-Hertogenbosch, March 14th 2002) Quintiq today announced it is speaking at the Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) event from the Royal Netherlands Organization in Professional Transport of Goods and Passengers by Road (Koninklijk Nederlands Vervoer), an organisation that safeguards the interests of the larger transport companies in the Netherlands. The event is taking place at the headquarters of the transport organisation in The Hague on the 24th April.

Many transport companies have implemented an ERP software package, it now appears that besides automating the administrative processes one wants to really optimize the company processes. APS solutions offer the possibility to achieve considerable savings, particularly on the operational level, while at the same time increasing customer service.

Questions such as how can APS fit into my current business process? What benefits do I gain with APS, and what does an APS project look like from start to finish? will be answered during the event.

In addition to Arjen Heeres, COO of Quintiq, several other speakers will be presenting as well. These are transport company Jan de Rijk Logistics, KPMG Consultants, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Interchain and the University of Leuven.
