Railion Denmark chooses Ab Ovo and Quintiq to establish planning standard

(Capelle aan den IJssel/ 's-Hertogenbosch, July 24 2002) Railion Denmark announced today the selection of Ab Ovo and Quintiq to ensure a company wide planning standard for its locomotives and locomotivedrivers. Ab Ovo is a leading ICT solutions provider in the travel & transport industry. Quintiq is supplier of advanced planning, scheduling & supply chain optimization software. The software will cater for the planning of 36,000 train movements and 158 Million ton of goods per year, 230 locomotive drivers and over 40 locomotives.
