CONET and Quintiq Form Alliance

IT systems company implements Quintiq's planning solutions for clients since January 2004

Mannheim, February 4, 2004. Quintiq, a provider of comprehensive corporate solutions for advanced planning, scheduling and supply chain management, has a new Alliance Partner: CONET AG. Since January 2004, the Germany based IT systems company has been assisting Quintiq with the implementation of their software and providing customers with extensive support. In addition, CONET will be involved in the further development of the Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) solution as a provider of creative ideas.

The unlimited cooperation agreement covers extensive collaboration and the implementation of Quintiq solutions on the customer side.

"With the Quintiq solution we can now provide new software that fits excellently into our service portfolio of logistics and planning solutions," says Jürgen Zender, a member of CONET AG's executive board. "We are confident that this partnership will provide a range of mutual synergies that will help us with the continued development of the solution as well as new joint projects."

The Quintiq Application Suite - in its current Version 3.0 available since July 2003 - can automate core business processes throughout an entire company, covering various locations, and solve complex planning and optimization tasks. Quintiq provides specific industry solutions for transport/logistics, workforce planning and metal processing.

"CONET is a company with a wealth of creativity and a broad range of services - we look forward to working with their team," explains Arjen Heeres, COO at Quintiq. After several intense rounds of negotiations and a selection procedure, Quintiq and its software met the high quality standards of CONET AG.

Quintiq's ambitious goals: to develop new market segments and optimize the software in line with individual customer requirements. "Thanks to this collaboration we are sure of making another major step towards offering one of the best APS technologies on the market," explains Arjen Heeres. "CONET has a wealth of experience - the creative suggestions they can contribute for improving the software will be of great assistance to us."
