Capgemini Wins First Annual Quintiq Partner Award

Annual prize for partner who realises the most return on Quintiq technology

's-Hertogenbosch, August 7, 2006 – Capgemini has been announced as the first winner of the Quintiq Partner Award. With this award, Quintiq highlights the importance of close collaboration with partners. Each year, Quintiq awards the prize to the partner who made the most valuable contribution to the partnership.

“Our partner programme is crucial to Quintiq,” comments Arjen Heeres, COO Quintiq. “By collaborating with partners, we are able to adapt our advanced planning software for specific market segments and assist customers in solving their planning issues. The objective of the award is not just to highlight the importance of a strong partner network, but also to increase partner expertise with our software, allowing us to create optimal opportunities for all parties involved: customers, partners and Quintiq.”

This year, Capgemini was awarded the prize because of the added value that the company has created for its customers from the use of Quintiq technology. Capgemini carried out projects based on Quintiq software for a wide range of customers including ANWB, Jan de Rijk Logistics, Ewals, P&O Nedlloyd, the Royal Netherlands Navy, Forbo Flooring, The Röntgen Technische Dienst, SIG Combibloc and various home-care organisations.

“This prize is a testament to the appraisal of Capgemini’s performance. It confirms our commitment to our customers,” comments Dik van der Leeden, Sector Director at Capgemini. “Quintiq delivers powerful software that offers us and our customers major benefits. We will do all we can to make optimal use of Quintiq products and to net the Quintiq Partner Award next year as well,” comments Dennis Wereldsma, Manager of Capgemini’s Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) Solution Center.
