Home Care Noord-Limburg selects Quintiq for employee and care planning

Fifth home care organization to implement Quintiq Home Care Planning System

's-Hertogenbosch, February 6, 2006 – Home Care Noord-Limburg is the fifth home care organization in the Netherlands to implement the Quintiq planning software for its employee planning. In so doing, Home Care Noord-Limburg follows the lead set by Care Group De Omring in Hoorn, Vivent in Den Bosch, Home Care Rotterdam and Icare in Overijssel and Drenthe who are already implementing the Quintiq Home Care Planning System.

For the project at Home Care Noord-Limburg, Quintiq will be cooperating closely with its partners Databalk and Elmo. Acting as the main contractor, Databalk will provide the project with its expertise in health care, and Elmo will deliver its solution for mobile registration.

Home Care Noord-Limburg is the largest home care organization in the northern part of the province of Limburg and offers home care, personal and specialized health care and other forms of care. It employs more than 1,200 people providing a service for more than 7,000 clients.

By implementing the Quintiq software, Home Care Noord-Limburg plans to improve the productivity of its employees and integrate its internal processes, including administration, registration and communication. In this way the organisation will be able to fulfil its mission of providing high-quality care to clients in the region.

When planning the activities of home care employees, many variables play a role: a regularly changing demand for care, a large number of employees with different competencies and contracts, and legislation and union agreements. Using the Quintiq planning software, an organization can take all of these variables into account when making a workforce plan.
