Quintiq to Focus on “Solving the Daily Planning Puzzle” at Upcoming Quintessence 07 Conference

‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, October 31, 2007 – Quintiq, a leading provider of Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) solutions today announced that its upcoming global conference, Quintessence 07, will be held at Schloss Bensberg, near Cologne, Germany on November 20.  The conference will focus on “solving the daily planning puzzle” – a theme that explores the very essence of Quintiq, thus giving rise to the Quintessence name.
Managers holding various planning and logistics roles at some of the world’s largest industrial and services companies, including TNT Express, Brussels Airport, Waitrose, Brink’s, Thyssenkrupp Steel, and Railion Deutschland, will participate as speakers and roundtable discussion leaders. Drawn from the wide range of industries whose needs Quintiq solutions address, these senior-level participants will discuss their planning challenges and the role Quintiq plays in their operations, and share their insights on the latest planning and business trends. Nigel Barton, Director Strategic Operations at TNT Express, will be the special keynote speaker at the Quintessence 07 Conference.
Although the upcoming meeting is the first “Quintessence” conference, it is actually the sixth annual meeting of Quintiq users and alliance members. In line with the previous Quintiq conferences, Quintessence 07 is expected to attract more than 200 participants from around Europe, Asia and North America.
