Ordina and Capgemini Win Quintiq Alliance Award 2007
Annual award honors outstanding partner achievements
Cologne , Germany , November 20, 2007 – Quintiq, a leading provider of Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) solutions today announced that Ordina and Capgemini are the winners of the annual Quintiq Alliance Award. Ordina, whose Belgium operations signed on as a Quintiq partner just this past March, has been named Best Alliance Partner. Capgemini, a longtime Quintiq partner and the winner of last year’s award, was named Best Implementation Partner.
“We value the contribution of all members of our partner network and are especially pleased to recognize outstanding achievers,” says Ad-Jan van Rooij, Global Director Alliances at Quintiq. “With this year’s two awards, we are proud to honor Capgemini and Ordina for their sales and implementation successes during 2007, their commitment to expanding the Quintiq capabilities and the added value they bring to advanced planning and scheduling projects.”
Ordina won the Best Alliance Award on the strength of the many new customers it added during 2007 and its tremendous growth in revenues from new licenses. Ordina’s work with Quintiq included major projects for new customers, including Brinks, PSA HNN, and Brussels Airport, and it completed numerous other implementations and upgrades at existing Quintiq-Ordina customers, including Danone, Emons Group, Van Huet Glass Logistics, SALM and VRT. As a result, Ordina proved itself one of the most prolific partners in the Quintiq network, capable of generating and realizing high-value opportunities.
Capgemini was singled out as this year’s Best Implementation Partner in recognition of its work with customers in a wide range of industries, in virtually every region of the globe. The global consulting company has developed innovative marketing tools and helped spearhead Quintiq’s penetration into new markets, while also maintaining a high level of implementation engagements in many of Quintiq’s traditional industries, such as metals and transportation. During 2007 Capgemini successfully worked on a large number of Quintiq projects, including Vlisco, Trespa, Vion, DHL, Reining, Alcan Neuf-Brisach, Wieland, Hydro, Novelis, and Kindertagesstätten Hamburg. Capgemini’s ongoing investment in Quintiq-dedicated human resources also contributed to its winning position. The company increased the number of Quintiq Consultants from 20 to 50 this year, with another 50 slated to join by the end of 2008.
