    Paul Longstaff is the director of planning and logistics at Moy Park and has been with the company since 2013. He oversees the full planning and logistics function of the poultry meat producer. Prior to Moy Park, he was channel operations director for Microsoft's physical supply chain into the retail channel. Paul has over 20 years' worth of experience in supply chain optimization across a variety of industries.
  • Yusuf Tungekar

    Head of Operations Business Systems, Business Technology
    Yusuf Tungekar has been part of the aviation industry for over 18 years, managing large strategic IT initiatives related to business processes, operations and core airport applications. He has been instrumental in enabling a multi-stakeholder collaboration for Dubai Airports through enterprise solutions and advanced system integration. Yusuf was involved from the first inception of the airport operations system in the late 1990s, and has actively participated in the commissioning of the airport's multiple terminals and concourses
  • Jochen Hiller

    Jochen Hiller has almost 20 years of experience in the aviation industry. As a solution provider, project manager and consultant, he has led several airport projects from solution design to final implementation in both Europe and the Middle East. Jochen's main expertise is in special airport systems and master system integration. He has been supervising the implementation of Dubai Airports' next generation AOS since 2015.
  • Sérgio Silva

    Head of Supply Chain Optimization and Development
    As a mechanical engineering and management graduate, Sérgio Guedes Silva decided to apply his engineering training to humanitarian causes. As the head of supply chain development and optimization at the World Food Programme, he leads a team responsible for innovations, operational support and strategic planning. Over the last few years he has been involved in delivering assistance to victims of humanitarian crises in Syria, Yemen and Nigeria. He is also the founder and current Council President of G.A.S. Porto, an NGO with around 400 volunteers.
  • Bernd Horsman

    Managing Consultant
    Bernd Horsman is managing consultant for the Transportation Experience business unit at Quintiq. Since joining Quintiq in 2006, he has worked on projects involving 3PL/4PL transportation optimization, postal services, bulk terminals, passenger services and rail cargo, rail infrastructure management, and airport operations. Bernd’s expertise includes supply chain planning and optimization, consultancy, project management, as well as business process design and development. He played a major role in projects for customers such as DHL Express, SOL, Van Uden Logistics, VolkerRail, and SBB.
  • Wolfgang Meißner
    thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG
    Head, Supply Chain Management and Design
    Wolfgang Meißner is the head of supply chain management and design at ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe, one of the world’s leading suppliers of high-grade flat steel. He started his career as a division manager at Thyssen Stahl AG, and has held many senior roles within the company. His latest career highlights include leading a project to develop a supply chain strategy in the US, and a data and process harmonization project in Europe.
  • Alex Nancolas
    Drax Power Limited
    IT Project Manager
    Alex Nancolas led the implementation of the Quintiq solution for Drax at its UK power station. He currently works on a diverse mix of technology projects for Drax, delivering key changes within the company's supply chain, risk, compliance and trading teams. Alex has previously delivered major projects for the British Army, NATO and the Tour de France. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Leeds and is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
  • Owen Tucker

    Planning Manager
    Owen is the Peaking Plant Project Manager and Optimization Analyst at Drax Power, the largest capacity power station in the UK. He conducts cross-functional analyses on various areas of the business, from fuel procurement and chemistry to logistics optimization and site stock management. He has been responsible for the design and creation of multiple Office-based IT tools to streamline various areas of the business and, as a natural progression in that regard, recently completed a successful project to implement the Quintiq supply chain planning and optimization software into Drax Power’s supply chain planning processes.
  • Rafał Gąska
    PKN ORLEN
    Director of Logistics Operations
    Rafał Gąska joined PKN ORLEN in 2012 as Director of Logistics Operations and in 2016 was promoted to Director of Logistics Infrastructure. He has successfully optimized ORLEN’s supply chain and supervised the implementation of many projects for the Polish oil refiner, such as rail transport optimization, self-service at fuel terminals, and transformation of the rail tank car fleet. He holds a master’s degree in management of logistics and transportation from the Chalmers University of Technology, and a master’s degree in logistics from the Warsaw University of Technology.
  • Otto van Harmelen

    Founder Core-Up, Former Vice President Metro Group
    Otto van Harmelen is the founder of CORE-UP, a business consultancy for corporates and startups. Prior to that, he was the vice president of Metro AG, one of the biggest retail companies in the world. He headed the company's international expansion division, serving as the procurement director in the management board across three countries. Otto has more than 30 years' experience in the retail and wholesale non-food and FMCG sectors.
  • Lars Bever-Gimsing
    Copenhagen Airports
    Section Manager, Security Resource Management
    Lars Bever-Gimsing heads the security planning department, creating rosters for more than 1.000 employees. He is in charge of optimizing the roster planning and negotiating terms with unions and the Security unions’ representatives. He has been with Copenhagen Airports A/S for the last 4 years. Lars has a master's degree in finance and accounting from Copenhagen Business School and several years of experience within finance departments as a business partner, interim CFO and analyst.
  • Charlotte Bolvig

    Head of Applications & Integration
    Charlotte has been with Copenhagen Airports for over five years and oversaw the implementation of the Quintiq system. Her expertise includes software development, project management, and agile methodology. Charlotte holds a master’s degree from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University
  • Fabrice Gidon

    IT Manager
    Fabrice Gidon is the IT manager for Thalys. Managing between 15 to 20 projects annually, he is responsible for maintaining and evolving IT solutions that support the smooth operations and services of all trains for the high-speed train operator. Prior to Thalys, he was part of the IT team in the rolling stock department of SNCF, France's rail service. He was responsible for implementing new and innovative services for the company's fleet planning systems.
  • Benjamin Bisch

    Supply Chain Analytics Manager
    Benjamin Bisch is the leader of the supply chain analytics team at Hager Group. He has led the implementation of Quintiq's Demand Planner solution, and is now managing the statistical calibration of the demand planning process. He designed and created multiple Microsoft Office-based IT tools to optimize the operational task across the supply chain, and founded the supply chain analytics team to support the growing need in business analytics. Benjamin also teaches demand planning at the University of Strasbourg Business School. He has a master's degree in business and management from the University of Glasgow.

    Walther Ploos van Amstel is a Lecturer of City Logistics at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool van Amsterdam). He has over 30 years’ experience in logistics, with previous stops including KPMG, Capgemini, and the Dutch Defence Academy. He is the author of several books on logistics and supply chain management, and is a much sought-after speaker on logistics. Walther holds a Ph.D. from the Free University of Amsterdam.
  • Rob van Egmond

    Rob van Egmond is the CEO of Quintiq. Being a technologist with a brain for business, he has held top leadership roles since joining the company in 2002. As VP of EMEA, he ran some of the largest European business units in the company, and was instrumental in opening new markets and establishing bases abroad. As CTO, he led the development of next generation planning technologies while working closely with the R&D team and customers to better meet the needs of the market. Today, as CEO, Rob is leading the charge in pushing the boundaries in supply chain analytics, optimization, and the cognitive supply chain. He holds a master’s degree in operations research from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

    Markus Malinen is Quintiq's vice-president of sales for the EMEA region. He has more than 20 years of experience in the steel industry in various managerial positions, from research and development to sales, corporate IT management, and supply chain management. Since joining Quintiq, he has been involved in business optimization for customers across a wide spectrum of industries.
  • Kyra Schuit

    Product Manager Workforce Planner
    Kyra's extensive expertise and experience in her eight years at Quintiq — as a developer, a business consultant and more — has allowed her to take the Quintiq Workforce Planner to the next level. She is particularly interested in solving workforce planning puzzles due to its human and social elements, which sets it apart from other planning puzzles. She has a master's degree in econometrics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
  • Jean-Baptiste Clouard

    Product Manager, Sales & Operations Planning
    Jean-Baptiste is a product manager for the S&OP solution at Quintiq. He is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) who has led the deployment of S&OP for many multinational companies in F&B, cement and concrete, discrete manufacturing and more. He is responsible for the strategy of the S&OP solution worldwide, and in leading the development of the solution’s capabilities in line with market trends.
