    Jim Carroll is an author, columnist, media commentator, and consultant, with a focus on linking future trends to innovation and creativity. He has a 20-year track record in providing direct, independent guidance to a vast, diverse global client base, combined with a previous professional financial background, including 12 years with the world’s largest professional services firm. He is recognized worldwide as a thought leader and authority on global trends, rapid business model change, business model disruption in a period of economic uncertainty, and the necessity for fast paced innovation.

    Rob van Egmond is the CEO of Quintiq. Being a technologist with a brain for business, he has held top leadership roles since joining the company in 2002. As VP of EMEA, he ran some of the largest European business units in the company, and was instrumental in opening new markets and establishing bases abroad. As CTO, he led the development of next generation planning technologies while working closely with the R&D team and customers to better meet the needs of the market. Today, as CEO, Rob is leading the charge in pushing the boundaries in supply chain analytics, optimization, and the cognitive supply chain. He holds a master’s degree in operations research from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

    David Kenneson is Quintiq's chief revenue officer. He ensures the strategic alignment of all global revenue-related functions, including sales, marketing and partnerships. He also holds profit and loss responsibility for the North American region, predominantly in the areas of manufacturing, workforce, and logistics. David’s extensive experience in solving supply chain puzzles for Fortune 500 companies has helped his team expand their customer portfolio to include many industry leaders such as Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Novelis, Air Products, and the FAA. David holds a bachelor's degree in production and operation management from the University of Scranton, and an MBA in supply chain management from Lehigh University’s College of Business and Economics.
  • Adrian Gonzalez

    President
    Adrian Gonzalez is the founder and president of Adelante SCM, a peer-to-peer learning and networking community for supply chain and logistics executives and young professionals. He is an advisor and industry analyst with more than 18 years of research experience in transportation management, logistics outsourcing, global trade management, social media, and other supply chain and logistics topics. He is also a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, and speaks frequently at industry events and conferences. Adrian is also the founder and host of Talking Logistics, a podcast series that features interviews with thought leaders in the supply chain and logistics industry. He has a bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering from Cornell University, and a graduate certificate in supply chain management from Northeastern University (where he also served as an adjunct instructor in their Executive MBA program).
  • Glenn Woythaler

    Managing Director
    Glenn Woythaler joined Seabury Consulting in 2013.  He has over 20 years of airline experience with leadership roles in finance, marketing and operations. He has led numerous initiatives to expand revenues while lowering the cost of sales, improve operating performance while lowering operating cost and other efficiency and productivity enhancements. Glenn received his bachelor's degree in government and geology from St. Lawrence University, and an MBA from the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
  • Ben Kraszyk

    Consultant
    Ben Kraszyk brought his expertise in airport operations labor and manpower planning to Seabury Consulting in 2015. He plays a key role in workforce strategy and analytics through engagements with global aviation and transportation clients. His efforts have been focused on supporting airline restructurings and privatizations, and in the development of general labor productivity and cost improvement initiatives. Ben holds a bachelor's degree in aviation technology and a master's degree in aviation and aerospace management, both from Purdue University.

    Senior Director of Planning
    Nigel Batchem is the senior director of planning at Amy’s Kitchen based in Petaluma, California. He has 20 years of experience in food industry planning and scheduling, with the last eight years leading the planning team at Amy’s Kitchen. Nigel holds a bachelor’s degree in food technology from Massey University.

    Associate Vice President, Scheduling
    Dr. Brian Blodgett is the associate vice president of scheduling at the American Public University System. He oversees a team that handles the online learning institution’s scheduling of over 2,000 globally located faculty members and over 1,500 courses required for online degrees and certificates taken by approximately 88,000 students. Dr. Blodgett holds a Ph.D in business administration and homeland security from Northcentral University in San Diego.

    Jim Sehi is the IT Director for JBS USA, and has over 30 years of experience in information technology. He has held various roles across a variety of industries and supply chains. Jim hold a bachelor's degree in computer information systems from Colorado State University.

    Senior Global Manager, Planning Systems
    Natalia Perez joined Herbalife in 2014. She manages the relationship between the company's information systems resources and its various business teams, coordinating all aspects of system implementations and technical enhancement projects. She has an extensive experience of supply chains in a variety of industries such as home appliances, consumer goods and cosmetics. Natalia holds an advanced certificate in professional project management from Florida International University.
  • Michel Plourde
    ArcelorMittal Mines Canada
    Director of IT
    Michel Plourde has more than 25 years' experience in the mining industry. His background in mathematics and computer science has seen him occupy various technology-related positions such as enterprise solution architect, technology strategy lead and R&D technology senior lead. His primary focus over the past 15 years has been to apply operational research techniques to leading edge technology to maximize operations efficiency and productivity in the iron ore mining industry. Michel has extensive experience in digital and technology strategies to bring about operational efficiency improvements and cost savings. In his current position of IT and operations technology manager, he is pushing the boundaries of digital mining into all facets of the business.
  • Anne Marie Rushworth

    Director of Logistics
    Anne Marie Rushworth has been in the mining sector for over 27 years. She began her career in IT, but her background in chemistry led her to manage the company's iron ore mining laboratories. She oversaw the implementation of LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and integrated best practices in iron ore analysis, with an emphasis on quality systems. As lead logistics coordinator, she supervised the implementation of various optimization models in the company.
  • Hank Ackerman

    Senior Executive Consultant
    Hank Ackerman is a senior executive consultant at Venetia Partners, focused on driving supply chain and operations performance improvement. He has 20 years' experience in global manufacturing, logistics, sourcing and supply chain. Hank holds a bachelor's degree from Davidson College, and an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
  • Simon Ellis
    IDC
    Program Vice President, Supply Chain Strategies
    Simon Ellis currently leads the global supply chain strategies practices at IDC Manufacturing Insights. He advises clients on supply chain digital transformation, network design, supply chain planning, global sourcing, transportation and logistics. He is also an expert on the high-tech and consumer products industries. Prior to this, Simon was the supply chain strategy director for Unilever North America. He has over 30 years of experience in manufacturing, working across all major areas of the supply chain. Simon has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University, and an MBA in finance from Columbia University.

    Global Director, HR Information Systems
    Cesar Caldera has been with Royal Caribbean Cruise Ltd. for 17 years and has held leadership roles in operational process improvement, IT, and Human Resource Information Systems. Most recently he has worked within the digital team, and has led projects focused on employee experience improvements, including initiatives to optimize operational and online transactional processes with technical solutions and process transformations. Cesar holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Florida International University.
  • Koen Peters
    World Food Programme
    Project Coordinator
    Koen Peters is a project manager in the Supply Chain Planning unit of the World Food Programme. After finishing a master’s degree in operations research at Tilburg University, he decided to apply his optimization knowledge to support humanitarian operations. For the last few years, he has been leading optimization initiatives at the World Food Programme, developing user-friendly tools to ensure that the programme can reach as many beneficiaries as possible. He is also currently pursuing a PhD in humanitarian logistics at Tilburg University.
  • Chad Clark
    YRC Freight
    Vice President, Accountability and Performance
    Chad Clark is the vice president of accountability and performance for YRC Freight, one of the largest transportation service providers in the world. He oversees the project management and the change management teams for the company. He is a 25-year transportation veteran with extensive experience in both sales and operations. Chad holds a bachelor's degree in international marketing from the University of Akron.
