Chief Technology Officer

Wil brings to his role as DELMIA Quintiq chief technology officer the skills of a technologist, innovator and problem-solver. As CTO, Wil drives the company’s technology vision in alignment with corporate strategy. Besides the further development of the DELMIA Quintiq Application Suite, his areas of focus include worldwide implementation of cloud services, optimization-as-a-service, deployment, mobile strategy as well as integration with the 3D Experience Platform of Dassault Systèmes. He also heads ongoing research & development to support the next generation of DELMIA Quintiq solutions that will drive current and future business. Wil works closely with product development, sales and marketing, and various business units within the company to ensure that DELMIA Quintiq solutions are always, above all, customer-centric. Corporate Support reports to Wil as well.

Career Highlights

Since joining DELMIA Quintiq in 2002, Wil has held various leadership roles within the company. He was vice president of professional services, customer services and in 2005, research & development. Wil headed the IT department from 2011 to 2015 and he is the man behind the success of the DELMIA Quintiq customer support center. He pioneered and directed its growth from a 20-person department in 2007 to a multi-disciplinary division that today, encompasses customer support, software quality, testing and R&D, and is manned by 200 top-notch technology talents.

Wil is also credited with the successful acceleration of the DELMIA Quintiq software release cycle in 2012. Under his leadership, the R&D team initiated a highly agile release management process that cut the cycle from 15 months down to three months. This improved process enabled DELMIA Quintiq to support the needs of customers more efficiently. Wil was appointed to the DELMIA Quintiq Board in January 2016.

He is based in the DELMIA Quintiq European headquarters in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.


Wil holds a master’s degree in computing science from Radboud University Nijmegen.
