Professor Wim Nuijten becomes Quintiq's new Vice President

Quintiq announced today that Professor Wim Nuijten has been appointed its new Vice President of Optimization Technology.

Wim brings over 22 years of solid experience and expertise in research and development of optimization technology. Furthermore, the Quintiq team will benefit from Wim's proven knowledge on both industrial optimization software components as well as optimization-based end-user applications. By adding Wim to its core management team, Quintiq has strengthened its position as a leading provider of Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) solutions.

  • "As Wim has tremendous experience in the field of optimization -- through his 17 years at ILOG and IBM as well as his professorship in Intelligent Information Systems at Eindhoven University of Technology -- we are convinced that he is the right fit for the new role.
