Quintiq & Santa Claus offer iPad Air to world’s fastest gift wrapper

December 17, 2013 | s’-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands

Quintiq, a global leader in supply chain planning and optimization (SCP&O), announced today that this holiday season it will partner with Santa Claus and his elves to host a gift-wrapping competition, to find out who is the fastest and most efficient gift wrapper in the world. Participants in WrapStar with the highest score on January 7, 2014 will win a brand new iPad Air, while the two runners up will each receive an iPad Mini.

Santa first began working with Quintiq in 2012, when he adopted their supply chain planning and optimization software for his toy factory in the North Pole, much to the delight of the elves, who subsequently achieved all of their KPIs!

“Mrs. Claus and I were so pleased with Quintiq’s solution and how it fit perfectly with our North Pole operations that we decided to partner with them for the first annual gift-wrapping competition,” said Santa. “Elves from all over the world now have the chance to show how fast and efficient they are, and the elf at the top of the leader board on January 7, 2014 will be declared the WrapStar and receive a brand new iPad Air”
