Quintiq invited to present at the 2014 Hydrocarbon Supply Chain Optimization Forum in Saudi Arabia

Quintiq, a global leader in supply chain planning and optimization (SCP&O) solutions, today announced that its Oil & Gas Director, Coen Verberk, and industry expert Kevin Hawes will both present during the 2014 Hydrocarbon Supply Chain Optimization Forum in al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia on December 17-18, 2014.

The forum is organized by the Oil Supply Planning & Scheduling (OSPAS) Department of the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco). Saudi Aramco, the state-owned oil company of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is an integrated global petroleum company. The company manages the world's largest proven oil reserves and is the world's largest producer and exporter of crude oil.

The overarching theme of the Hydrocarbon Supply Chain Optimization Forum for this year will be "Innovative Technologies to Enhance Planning, Scheduling and Optimization". The Forum's objective is to foster knowledge sharing between Saudi Aramco organizations and professionals in the areas of planning and optimization.

In line with the overarching theme of the forum, Coen Verberk will present on how the oil & gas industry is exploiting the latest developments in SCP&O to maximize business performance. This presentation will cover how integration, visualization and optimization of planning lead to outstanding business results in the oil & gas industry.

During Kevin Hawes' presentation, the audience will learn more about the application of decision support technology to integrate Hydrocarbon shipping solutions, streamline turnkey processes and maximize bottom line results.
