Quintiq wins multiple accolades for its industry-leading technology

Jun 26, 2014 | Radnor, PA, USA

Quintiq, a global leader in supply chain planning and optimization (SCP&O), is proud to announce that its software platform has earned recognition from multiple leading supply chain and technology organizations.

Over the past quarter, Quintiq’s industry-leading solution has been included in both the ‘Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 (SCDE 100)’ list and the ‘Top 100 Logistics IT Providers’ list. Quintiq has also received the award for Advanced Manufacturing Technology at the 2014 American Technology Awards.

The SDCE 100 and the ‘Top 100 Logistics IT Providers’ lists identify superior US supply chain software providers in order to provide supply chain executives with a yearly resource of the best industry solutions. Companies included in the SDCE 100 list developed and managed supply chain planning projects that produced measurable gains in ROI through cost-cutting and increased efficiency in end-to-end supply chains.

Quintiq was honored based on its recent work with a Dutch textile manufacturer which, by using the Quintiq software platform, increased its product output by 16.3% and reduced lead times by 50%. The ‘Top 100 Logistics IT Providers’ list was culled by the editors of Inbound Logistics magazine, based on research conducted on vendors within the logistics and transportation industry. These top providers offer solutions that are central to solving transportation, logistics, and supply chain challenges, and have quantifiable customer success.

TechAmerica Foundation, host of the American Technology Awards (ATA), aims to educate industry executives on the potential of technological innovation to advance prosperity, security and general welfare. The ATAs recognize outstanding achievement in a specific industry and seek to honor the “best of” the U.S. technology sector. Quintiq earned this honor based on the unique features its software platform provided to improve efficiency and lead times for two corporations: a Dutch textile manufacturer and the global leader in aluminum rolling.

“To earn multiple recognitions in supply chain and the overall technology sector is a testament to our constant aim to evolve with the industry’s needs and provide all of our customers with measurable, ROI-driven results,” said Jeffrey Vail, CMO at Quintiq. “We are very proud to have been chosen by these three well-respected organizations and look forward to continuing to expand the use of our 100%-fit software platform globally.”
