Thought leaders to gather at 12-stop Quintiq World Tour 2015 to explore the theme ‘People. Planning. Profit.’

May 13, 2015 | 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands
Quintiq, a global leader in supply chain planning and optimization (SCP&O), announced the commencement of its annual world tour with stops in 12 cities around the globe.

This year's theme is 'People. Planning. Profit.' Attendees will explore the ways in which optimization can harness the full potential of an organization's people and planning processes, spanning all industries from manufacturing to aviation, logistics, oil and gas, and public transport.

In his keynote speech, Quintiq CEO Dr. Victor Allis will take attendees on a journey of breakthrough business transformation. He'll explore case studies of organizations embracing the process of transformation from the first step of using technology to modernize a business process, to the final step of reimagining an entire market.

The Quintiq World Tour 2015 builds on the success of last year's event, which attracted over a thousand supply chain and IT professionals from leading organizations. Through presentations, roundtables and networking events, attendees are invited to discover:

  • Why expert human planners - not robots or computers - will remain the key asset in supply chain planning
  • What it takes to be an expert planner in 2015, and how this knowledge can transform your organization
  • Why big data is meaningless without big calculations
  • How technological innovation can be a threat as well as an opportunity, and how to ensure that one is always the disrupter, never the disrupted
