Speakers

Arjen Heeres

Arjen Heeres is chief operating officer at Quintiq. His focus is on the company’s European business units, marketing, sales and alliances. During Arjen’s 14-year tenure at Quintiq, the company has grown from being a group of five Dutch computer scientists to an international company with more than 900 employees in offices around the globe. Arjen has 20 years’ experience in the IT industry and has previously worked at Esso (Benelux), CapGemini and Imtech.
Pero Mićić

Dr. Pero Mićić is the founder and CEO of Future Management Group AG. He is a leading expert in futures management, and advises business and government leaders on the subject's research and application. He has written six books, including his most recent title, The Five Futures Glasses. Pero developed the Eltville Model and is a lecturer at renowned universities and academies. He holds a PhD in business foresight and strategy from Leeds Business School.
Andreas Novak

Andreas Novak is the Manufacturing Director at Vlisco, a Dutch manufacturer of high quality fabrics, producing for the West and Central African markets. He has in-depth knowledge on the processes of a textile company and is an expert in the textile and garment industry. Andreas is an industry veteran with close to 20 years’ experience.
Wolfgang Meißner

Wolfgang Meißner is the head of supply chain management and design at ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe, one of the world’s leading suppliers of high-grade flat steel. He started his career as a division manager at Thyssen Stahl AG, and has held many senior roles within the company. His latest career highlights include leading a project to develop a supply chain strategy in the US, and a data and process harmonization project in Europe.
Reinhard Steup

Reinhard Steup is a senior manager at HAVI Global Solutions Europe. He heads the analytics and supply chain services as well as the promotions management business units. Reinhard brings to the session his expertise in aligning strategic service portfolios with demand. This is backed by over 25 years of experience in a variety of supply chain related business functions such as sourcing, procurement, demand/supply planning, data management and business intelligence.
Bastian Gockel

Bastian Gockel is a senior manager at Accenture, a Quintiq implementation partner and leader in digitalization. Brian specializes in management consulting for the travel and transportation industry. His experience in this industry goes back to his days at Lufthansa, where he spent eight years in various divisions: controlling and finance, network planning, process and quality, and airline strategy.
Björn Helmke

Björn Helmke is a journalist specializing in transportation and logistics. He started his writing career at the Elmshorner, later becoming a deputy editor of the Munich-based journals “Transporting” and “VerkehrsRundschau”. In 2000 Björn became editor-in-chief of the e-com logistics magazine for DVV Media Group, and then took over the editorship of the “DVZ”. Since 2012, Björn has been freelancing for magazines in the transportation and logistics segment. He also gives technical presentations and advises publishers. Björn holds a degree in business studies from the Hamburg Business Academy.
Reinier Zuurmond

Reinier Zuurmond is a supply chain planning consultant at Quintiq. He specializes in business consultancy, process improvement and process management for the metals industry. Reinier has worked on an ordering and production scheduling project for Aurubis Stolberg GmbH & Co. KG, producer of high precision copper and copper and alloy strips and wire. Before joining Quintiq two years ago, Reinier was at IHC Merwede for over six years where he led innovations in the company’s work preparation and production processes.
Dr. Tobias Schulz

Dr. Tobias Schulz is a senior business consultant at Quintiq. He has extensive experience implementing logistics solutions for clients around the world, including DHL Express. His specialties include operations research, supply chain optimization, and inventory management. Tobias holds a PhD in operations research from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg.
